1. Overview
Case Dynasty (“we”, “us”) is a case-opening entertainment platform operated by [Operator legal name]. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have. It applies to your use of the Service and should be read alongside our Terms of Service. Capitalised terms such as Coins and Items have the meaning given there.
2. Information we collect
- Steam identity. When you sign in with Steam we receive your SteamID and public profile details (display name, avatar, and profile URL) through Steam’s OpenID login.
- Public Steam inventory. If you choose to view it, we read the public CS2 inventory associated with your Steam account to display it and estimated item values.
- Account and activity. Your coin balance, the items in your collection, and a record of your transactions (deposits, case opens, and any sells or withdrawals) so your account works and can be audited.
- Payment data. When you deposit, our payment provider processes the crypto payment. We store the deposit amount, currency, payment status, and the provider’s payment reference. We do not see or store your wallet keys.
- Technical data. Standard information your browser sends with each request, such as your IP address, device and browser type, which we use for security and to operate the Service.
- Verification data (if requested). Where required by law or to prevent fraud, we may ask you to verify your identity or source of funds before processing certain activity.
3. How we use your data
- to provide the Service - sign-in, your balance, opening cases, and your collection;
- to process deposits and, where offered, withdrawals;
- to keep the Service secure and prevent fraud, abuse, and underage use;
- to comply with our legal obligations and respond to lawful requests;
- to fix problems and improve the Service.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use a small number of strictly-necessary technologies, not third-party advertising trackers:
- a signed session cookie (
scl_session) that keeps you logged in after Steam sign-in; - browser local storage that remembers your age confirmation and, for guests, a local play balance.
5. Who we share data with
We share personal data only as needed to run the Service:
- Steam / Valve - to authenticate your sign-in and read your public profile and inventory.
- Our payment provider - to create and confirm crypto deposits.
- Our hosting and database provider - to store your account data on our behalf under a data-processing agreement.
- Authorities - where we are legally required to, or to protect our rights and users.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. After you close it, we retain what we need to meet legal, accounting, and anti-fraud obligations, then delete or anonymise the rest.
7. Security
We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including signed sessions and access controls on our database. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to address issues promptly.
8. International transfers
Your data may be processed by service providers located in other countries. Where it is, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable data-protection law.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your data-protection authority. To exercise any of these, contact us at [support@yourdomain].
10. Children
The Service is for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe someone underage has used the Service, contact us and we will remove their data.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date. This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. For any privacy question or request, contact [support@yourdomain].
